The defining feature of the YKS series is its IC81W cooling system. Instead of relying on ambient air to cool the internal components, the motor uses a top-mounted air-to-water heat exchanger.
Contamination Protection: Since the internal air circulates in a closed loop, dust, salt spray, and corrosive gases from the external environment (common in Middle Eastern oil fields or Southeast Asian coastal plants) cannot enter the motor.
